This time round 'A Day in the Valley' is hosting a Great Southern Nights Music Festival. The Friendly Inn is proud to present such an awesome line-up of Australian performers. There is a mix of international multi award-winning artists and local home-grown talent.
For those planning to come along to A Day in the Valley but don't want or are unable to drive themselves, we've reached out to the local Taxi operators to get the rundown of how to book a cab or Maxi Taxi and what are the likely costs.

A single trip from Berry Train Station to A Day in the Valley, Kangaroo Valley will be run on the Taxi Meter and should cost approximately $70 to $80 for the journey.

Nowra Radio Taxis

Nowra Radio Taxis are open 24 hours within the local areas of Nowra, Bomaderry and surrounds.
They have multiple 4 seat taxis and only a few 8 and 9 seat maxi taxis available in their fleet.
A breakdown of approximate fares is as follows. Note all fares are run off the taxi meter. 
There is a 50% charge for five or more passengers and there is a higher rate charged after 10pm.
Bomaderry to the Friendly Inn, KV
4 pax $65 - after 10pm $70
5-9 pax $90 - after 10pm $100
Nowra to the Friendly Inn, KV
4 pax $70 - after 10pm $80
5-9 pax $100 - after 10pm $120
Customers are advised to make a booking by TELEPHONE. You can book a regular taxi for a particular time but you cannot book a maxi taxi on the weekend as they are limited to a first come first served basis, with disabled jobs taking priority.

On Saturday 21st November 2020 there is a train departing Kiama approximately every 2 hours heading south to Nowra/Bomaderry Station. 
The most likely train from Sydney to get you there before the first act starts departs Central Station at 9.29am thru Wollongong 11.01am, Arriving Kiama at 11.47am
The connecting Bomaderry Train departs Kiama at 11.53am, thru Gerringong at 12.02pm and Berry at 12.11pm before arriving in Bomaderry at 12.21pm.
The trains returning north to Kiama and beyond on Saturday night depart Bomaderry Station at 6.28pm, 8.28pm and 11.20pm.
At time of writing (05/11/2020), there are No Scheduled Trackworks for the South Coast Line. (Yippeee)
